Ircuo yesterday and today

IRCUO YESTERDAY...

The Ircuo Institute was established in 1999 as a response to increasing demands from the footwear and leather processing companies of Slovenia for more intense breakthroughs in development and technology.

Since its establishment, the Technological Centre has focused on the study of new technological methods in development and production of footwear, implementation of research projects with co-financing from funds for technology centres, and introduction of testing services for various materials to reduce the risks of development.

 

IRCUO TODAY...

Today, the Ircuo Technological centre has at its disposal more than 20 modern material-testing machines used by the footwear, leather and textile industry.

The main tasks of the Ircuo Technological Centre are:

  • Filling the leading role in submissions of joint projects to tender invitations,
  • Conducting laboratory testing on materials and finished footwear, and
  • Providing supporting services for the footwear and leather processing companies.

IRCUO TOMORROW...

The footwear and leather processing industry in Slovenia has a desperate need for a certified laboratory capable of carrying out accredited tests. For that reason, in the next medium-term period all our energy will be focused on acquiring the ISO standard of business quality, which is a condition for the acquisition of the accreditation.

In addition, the Ircuo Technological Centre will continue to provide its members with quality testing and consulting services.
